“Wow!”
“Wow!” That’s what this client wanted. She wanted to knock her visitors socks off, take their breath away. She had purchased an eighth-floor, lake-facing condo in an urban center. The view was enveloped by sky and lake, but the interior was weighted by walls and cottage décor.
I suggested an architect I knew would take the client at her word and make the dramatic changes needed to maximize the light and view. Floor plans included a private space the client could close off to visitors.
I focused on importing in the fresh, bold citrus colors of California – where the client had a second home – into the four-season palette of the Midwest, and building out the new open spaces with high-end materials.
